Lexi Mann attends Drummond High School. She has been accepted to Oklahoma State University majoring in Secondary Education - Mathematics. She decided in kindergarten that she wanted to be an elementary teacher and developed an interest in math. Her school involvement includes Student Council, FFA, Academic Bowl and Scholastics Team, National Honor Society School Yearbook, Poetry Out Loud Club, Basketball as well as Slow and Fast Pitch Softball. She serves on the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Teen Board and is a teaching assistant for 8th and 9th grade AG class. She is also involved in her church youth group serving food to the homeless community and is a regional food bank volunteer. She has won many local and regional Speech Awards Among her many achievements she was chosen United States Senate Youth Program Alternate, Oklahoma House of Representatives Page and earned a Citizenship Award.
Luke Friesen attends Elk City High School. He has been accepted to the University of Oklahoma majoring in Biomedical Engineering. He became interested in the medical field when he took an intro class in Emergency Medical Response. This is when he began to realize the medical field was somewhere he could thrive. His school involvement includes National Honor Society, All-State Choir member, Varsity Football Captain, Key-Club, Student Council, Unified Partner for Special Olympics, FFA and FCA. He was voted DAR Good Citizen by School faculty and awarded the Peter Marsh Foundation Silent Servant Award. Luke established a program for connecting with senior adults through music by playing guitar and singing for residents of a local retirement village every other Saturday. He attends Elk City United Methodist and is very involved in the youth league. He is also a volunteer for the Annual Kiwanis Carnival and the Elk City Ministerial Alliance Christmas Basket Project.
